“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:26-27
One of the essential ministries of St. Paul is a ministry of prayer, called Prayer Partners. If you have a prayer request, you can email it to the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at 330-239-1340.
After several requests have been collected, the prayers are written and sent to the prayer chain, which is a group of around 50 people who receive the prayers through a phone tree and/or email. These prayers can also be added to the Sunday morning prayers.
If you worship at St. Paul and would like to join the Prayer Partner ministry, email Gabriella at the church office. Indicate whether you would like to receive the prayers by email or the phone tree, or both, which is recommended as the phone tree recordings occasionally fail. The phone tree is only able to call local numbers, so if you have a long distance number, you will be able to receive the prayers via email.
